The flick test
It’s the ultimate test of how sturdy and durable a print really is. It’s as simple as it sounds: pick up your paper, give it a good flick, and if it’s wibbly and wobbly, you’re dealing with an impostor. If it’s thick, strong and reeks of quality, that’ll be a SeedPrint sheet. Our founder prides himself on the fact you’ll never get a better flick than our paper. (He doesn’t get out much.)
Why does it pass this test better than its rivals? We promise a minimum of 300gsm, but usually somewhere between 300-350gsm. (GSM, if you’re not familiar, is grams per square metre, sometimes referred to as grammage.) Our paper is so strong, we’ve won clients from other suppliers, as we’re able to build sustainable card products and packaging with much better hold. We even made a coffin from it once. We digress…
What it's made from
We use only pre- and post-consumer waste, with zero cotton, so it’s thick and heavy, but also better at composting. This gives the paper a more tactile, sensory feel, and we leave it uncoated to make sure you can enjoy that rustic quality. It also means you can really see what it is and feel what it is. And, because you know it’s made from the paper you recycle at home, work and school, it increases those eco-friendly credentials too.

One of our other priorities is seeds that grow, so how we treat and print on our paper adds an extra layer of quality. We’ve had a long stint in the printing world, thanks to four generations of experience, so we came up with a technique that avoids heat and unnecessary compression, which damages the seeds during printing.
This means that with SeedPrint paper, you’re left with higher germination rates than other types of seed paper. You can thank us later for providing a higher yield, helping you to grow more flowers and creating more food and habitat opportunities for pollinators.

Typically, in our products you can expect a wildflower mix, of poppies, daisies and scorpion grasses, which are perfect for attracting bees, butterflies and caterpillars, and therefore perfect for increasing biodiversity.
