Everything you need to know to grow your seed paper into beautiful British wildflowers.

Approximately four weeks after planting seed paper, shoots appear and become sturdier
Our seed paper can be planted to grow beautiful British wildflowers

Paper full of potential (and seeds)

Our biodegradable seed paper is embedded with – you guessed it – seeds and made using post-consumer and post-industrial paper waste (a fancy way of saying recycled paper).

When planted, the paper composts away, and the seeds grow, leaving you with nothing but beautiful wildflowers. We told you – magic.

Our product is truly natural, this means we can’t guarantee every seed will sprout into a blossoming plant. But with right care and attention, the results should be lovely.

How to grow seed paper

1. Plant it

Fill your pot with two-thirds of quality potting soil, and give it a good pat down.

Then, tear the page into sections or pop the whole piece directly into soil. Press it in gently, then cover with 1 – 2cm more soil.

2. Make it rain

Growing is thirsty business. Make sure you give it lots to drink and water the pot regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.

3. Everybody loves the sunshine

Keep your seed paper planted in as sunny a spot as possible, whether that be on a windowsill, outside or in a greenhouse – as long as it’s warm.

Oh and don’t forget to keep watering it.

Once they begin to sprout, continue to provide some TLC by watering as needed and ensuring they receive sufficient light.
